Angela Raines
Angela Raines has been an artist her entire life. Before she could tie her shoes; she could draw. She attended Ringling School of Design and studied illustration.
She moved to Oregon from Kentucky in 2007 and her southern background has continued to shaped her as she has grown as an artist in the Northwest.
As an illustrator she has had her works in magazines since 2001. She has also written and illustrated two children’s books. Her subject focus is nature and its relationship to our modern human world. She uses anthropomorphism, surrealism and humor to share her whimsical stories.
